Love the alliterative and colorful combination. I don’t always subscribe to the “less is more” notion, but sometimes it’s the perfect antidote to “mole with 40 ingredients.” I’m intrigued by your suggestion about shredded mushrooms!!

The new york times has all those 101 fast salads, 101 simple dinners written by bittman as their most emailed articles recently. this is very much like those–but I love the combo. I could never have thought of it, but now I want it.
