		<description>I can assure you that we New Englanders don&#039;t have to be relegated to eating only potatoes and turnips this time of year.  Although, it does require some planning ahead.  I don&#039;t even have my own garden, and I&#039;ve managed to freeze and can quite a bit of summer&#039;s bounty.  It might not get me through the whole winter this year, but it&#039;s my first go-round.

And I don&#039;t choose to eat exclusively local, either.  If I can buy it locally, I do.  Then, I buy what&#039;s in season (there were oranges in my shopping cart this week).  And this week I struggled with salads.  I just decided I&#039;ve gotta have &#039;em.  So I find the most responsible ingredients I can!  

We do what we can!</description>
